Hello Brenda,
I guess you would have had a lovely visit with your son, it is always lovely to be able to catch up with family even if it is only for a short time. So very pleased that your eye surgery went well and I can imagine that you would be very relieved now that it is over. I pray that when they remove that growth on your arm they don’t find anything of concern and that all turns out well for you. The two poems you have sent out are both wonderful but “Closing Of The Door” is very sad, but beautifully written. It is so sad but real that many seem to face that reality in their lives when someone just walks away from what was once a loving relationship. “Pretty Pictures” is very clever and humorous with a touch that simply makes you smile. Can anyone really imagine if that were true. It won’t be long and you will be enjoying Spring weather, with all its new growth. I do send to you and Jim our very best for a very Happy Easter from us both here in the land down under. Look after yourself, and hopefully you will be able to get back to writing soon. Will keep you in my prayers. God bless Eddie

Brenda, it is so nice to be back visiting!! Closing Of The Door is such a sad one, and yet there are many times in life that does happen. You are such a sweet one, so cannot see anyone shutting you out!! Pretty Pictures, and seeing the cats and reading, reminds me of the old book I had when I was a child called The Color Kittens. Did you ever see that book? Such a darling page. I loved it!! God bless you sis, and glad the surgery went well. Love you! Keep in touch.

Thank you so much for your newsletter of today. I am so happy the cataract operation was a success and you are now finally able to see so much better. I hope the the growth in your left arm does not turn out to be anything serious. You will be in my prayers. Your message window is absolutely wonderful. I have looked at it a few times and just love the music, scenery and messages it contains. Great job Sissy. In reference to your earlier poems. I enjoyed reading them over again. "Closing of the Door" So sad and a life lesson poem. While "Pretty Pictures" was just adorable. Loved it. I hope you will have a great weekend. You just take good care of yourself my dearest Sissy. Happy to hear your cataract surgery went well. My husband Dave has them, and so far doesn't need surgery, but has an appointment March 17th with our eye surgeon. Everyone has told Dave it's easy now a days. I told him what you said too! God Bless you Sweetie! "Closing of the Door," is an emotional poem, and I truly hope all works out for you as it must be very painful. We had a simular incident in our family too! "Pretty Pictures" is so adorable with those kitty cats! Loved this one too Brenda! Send our love to Jim also!

I am so glad your eye surgery finally came out right. I just love the Irish Blessing it is so beautiful and I have been going back and reading some old poems and they are just as beautiful, sad, and enlightening as they were when you first wrote them.
