Greetings to you dear Brenda,
As you can see, I have not fallen off the end of the earth, although lately I'm feeling like I have. All this construction is not easy on Tony and I, two out of shape senior citizens.*S* I'm sure hoping that this will all be done by the holidays and then I'll have my computer time back! I enjoyed reading about your backyard games. I'm just so happy for you. I'm also grateful to the Lord that your eye surgery went well. We don't want anything to interfere with your poetry writing. They are a great source of joy for me, and I'm sure for many others. Now Brenda, I visited your updated About Me page and then the dessert recipes. If you are able to eat all those yummy things and keep that wonderful figure I see in the most recent photo, well, that's really something. So my dear friend, I once again apologize for not being around often enough, but please, please know that you are always in my thoughts, as well. I can't even remember how I first found your site and your friendship, but I cherish them both. Stay well and enjoy the new fall season.

Glad your eye surgery went well and that you have no more problems. I really enjoyed the new pages you created for your "About Me". You were a real little cutie when you were a wee lass and now such a beautiful lady. The friendship poem on the friends page was beautiful too. Oregon sounds a gorgeous state and I did at sometime belong to a little group of people there - I think it was called Our Front Porch and I do wish I could find them again. They wanted photos of where I lived and posted them on their site. Finally, thank you so much for your lovely birthday card. It was so thoughtful of you to remember me. :o) Have a lovely weekend.

Hi Brenda:
So glad to hear your laser eye surgery went well. Dave has the beginning stages of cataracts, he see's the surgeon once a year. I go ever four months with my glaucoma. Best to keep our eyes in good condition. I am grateful to always hear the good news from friends that all went well with surgeries. Your friends page is so pretty, just love it. What a nice job! Your recipes are scrumptious too! Great page of desserts. Send our love to Jim also. We love you Brenda! It was so delightful to hear that you both love the Badminton game, and horseshoes! Great! Wow you guys are buzzing around there, painting, redecorating and having fun. I am so happy for you both in your new home.

I loved the newsletter and hearing about the backyard activities you all can do now, and it sounds like so much fun, and still keep 'kitty's' out. Loved reading the page "About Me" and the picture shows you are as lovely as I pictured you! I am so glad the eye surgery turned out great and with no side effects. Happy to be a friend on your page, and loved reading the recipes!! Gee, they sound delicious. Darn this diet!! Totally enjoyed my visit!!!

Thank you for your latest Newsletter-Update. So great to hear that you are using your backyard. I am not very good at Badminton or Horseshoes, but they are both fun games to play. I am so very happy to hear that your eye surgery went well. Thank God! You must be glad that it is all over with. Your friends page looks wonderful, I love the new graphics and your poem at the end. Also your picture in your "About Me" page is beautiful.I also checked out your Dessert pages. You sure have listed some yummy ones. You have put in a lot of work listing all these recipes. Hello Brenda,
It seems like ages that I have been “out of action”. Firstly I was going through that awful period of depression and just as I was getting through that I got myself a good dose of the flu which had me bedridden for over a week. I rarely get the flu, but when I do it hits me hard, so hopefully it will be another 15 years before it attacks me again. I love your page “Thoughts Of You”, the words are wonderful and the graphics are simply beautiful and set off your words so well. As you always do you have written yet another wonderful poem and I never tire of reading your words. Glad to hear your computer room is now like you want it and the paint smell won’t last all that long so soon you won’t notice it any longer. I can’t imagine why anyone would paint a room purple, but I guess everyone has their own tastes. Antique White sounds like a much better (and easier on the eyes) colour. Thank you my friend for sending me your page, hopefully I will have an update out late this week. I missed sending the one I normally do at the beginning of the month as I was so ill. Brenda, dear one, the new poem is so beautiful. You and your husband seem to have the perfect marriage, how lucky you both are! Keep writing the thoughts that come from a very talented lady. I know your house is lovely, are there pics to share? I'm trying to get mine painted inside but my painter is so "laid back", he hasn't even bothered to call. "Thoughts Of You," is so pretty, and filled with much love. You and I are so very lucky we have the husbands we have! I loved the way you wove your words and expresses so much daily love as time past as well. Beautiful Love Poem. You both are so very lucky, and now in your new home. Your computer room sounds great. I hate the paint smells too. It's been hot off and on mostly on over here too! We have the A/C on today again because of the humidity is 86%! Yuk! I went to the dentist yesterday to fix one tooth cost $242.00. He is the best dentist though, and he teaches. Love You Always My Dear Special Friend! There is no one on Earth like you Brenda! You are very special to me in my heart, thoughts and prayers.
