Hi Brenda: I too am off the computer more now. A Winter Walk is so true of so many who have lost their loved ones from this war. Our friend Jane lost her son John Granville who was murdered in Africa last week. Today is the funeral. John was only 33 years of age, and was a good will Ambassador. This was Jane's only son. Please keep their family in your prayers. I cried as I read A Winter Walk. My Quiet Place is very well written too. Love all of your poetry. I'll keep you in all prayers for your upcoming eye surgery. Love to you and Jim. God Bless! Love Always, Joyce

Dearest Brenda, Wow! Sis you have done it again. Two most beautiful poems. "A Winter Walk" and "My Quiet Place" I loved reading each one of them. You write so from the heart Sissy. What a God given talent, unbelievable. I am always so moved when reading your poetry. You made my day. Your graphics and music perfect. Have a great restful week and weekend. God bless you always my dearest Sissy. I love you, Anneliese

Dear Brenda, Both of your new poems are so very moving. You touch our hearts with your words. As a poet I know we have to go deep within to express what we want to say to draw the reader in and no one does it better than you. God gave you a wonderful talent and I am so thankful that our paths crossed and brought me a wonderful friend. Have a lovely week. Marian

You have a wonderful thing here! I read "Dipping Snuff" and did it ever bring back memories to the childhood of my two sisters and two brothers and myself. WE, the two eldest and I, Was guilty of swipping snuff and it was found on the top shelf of the cabinet. AND we were sick little hummers for awhile. I think Momma caught us tho. ha. Enjoyed your poems so much.
