The days have gone by slowly, since you went away and we said our last goodbye. Silent tears will always be there, and I know will continue flowing until the day I die. I never thought of being alone, we had planned our life and days of being together. Enjoying all the times we spent, with our trips to the beach during the sunny weather. Wanting each night to touch you, my hand feels nothing but the cold empty night air. Closing my eyes to finally sleep, I suddenly see a vision of you standing right there. I whisper your name with hope, wanting to laugh and talk with you again for awhile. Sometimes I dream of long ago, and those pleasant memories linger bringing a smile. Today I walk along the shores, and the waves move slowly back in touching my feet. Stirring all of the many memories, of our love story suddenly ending forever incomplete. My days are filled with loneliness, my broken heart empty as the sadness I try to hide. But this love story will never end, I realize some day we will again stand side by side. But I have my quiet place, which stays tucked away safely deep within my heart. You can always find me there, it's the one place where I know we will never be apart. I keep thinking about things, and why I was left here without you completely alone.
