There is a journey
I never take, realizing if I did I would make a
terrible mistake. Some people who must have
control, will say things which impact or
damage your soul.
It seems like they are
not satisfied, their words come easy and they
will not be denied. If there is something you
are against, a controlling person will take
the opposite stance.
Making you aware it
is your fault, these people will continue a
hateful verbal assault. Wanting you to hear
what they say, usually content once they
finally get their own way.
Not able to
fill an emptiness inside, always behind a mask
of innocence they try to hide. Never
totally giving up nor giving in, wanting to
have control and doing anything to
win.
I feel sorry for these people
though, because of the people they never see
or get to know. Hurting others with their
crafty tongue, not concerned if the victim
is someone old or young.
Words that can
pierce a loving heart, tearing any self
confidence down right from the start. If you
look you will see a lovely grin, keeping
their secret ... of the real evil that lies
within.
So you see, I don’t do guilt
trips, nor care what words flow from
their controlling lips. There are many
places I can enjoy, let them find another person
to ridicule and destroy.
