I have a friend who’s story is untold,
one who was blessed at her birth with a heart of gold.
Sharing her true love of God inside,
filled with kindness and compassion she cannot hide.

Her talent evident of writing poetry,
sharing this wonderful gift so others too might see.
Knowing whatever in life each face,
her words reminding us of God’s love and His grace.

Poems written to lighten your day,
others telling of our need to give thanks and pray.
Several speak of friends she has met,
who in their times of troubles, she will never forget.

Sending friends cards to say hello,
lovely notes in a guest book to let her love show.
Not caring what she is going through,
taking the time to send a card to say, "Thank You”.

Staying close by her husband's side,
since the day they wed and she became his bride.
The year was nineteen seventy three,
pledging true love to last throughout all eternity.

A wonderful lady so special to me,
if you take the time to know her, I will guarantee.
Her heart of gold a lasting treasure,
her words of wisdom and joy to bring you pleasure.

Giving love to all unconditionally,
this is something special that you seldom will see.
I’m proud to know this friend of mine,
May God bless our friendship until the end of time.
