The hand of friendship,
is a loving hand which God reaches willingly to you.
In greatest times of need,
lasting love and guidance shall always see you through.
We may need to listen quietly,
for His true message to sometimes reach into our heart.
For sometimes God just whispers,
His eternal message, of hope, which He wants to impart.
He weeps right along with us,
in our seemingly endless and lonely hour of needed relief.
But if we can just be silent,
awaiting us, is renewed assurance for our faithful belief.
Look again into the Heavens,
the hand of friendship is extending down with God’s love.
God never forsakes His children,
continuously, watching somewhere in the Heavens above.
Although heartache is endured,
feeling lost, and wondering why you need to continue on.
Don’t ever let go or give up,
the hand of friendship leads us through darkness to dawn.
Though raging storms are faced,
and life's trials and tribulations apparently have no end.
Needed comfort awaits everyone,
God stands steadfast remaining our Savior and friend.
Others may judge and walk away,
but God constantly remains there faithfully by your side.
There is nothing we can't tell Him,
His everlasting love, for each of us, shall never be denied.
