I sometimes wonder where life’s
road is going to take me, there never appears
any end in sight, nor comfort I can see. The
road seems never ending, and the burdens I must
bear, grasping on to hope and faith knowing
someone does care.
There are many
questions which always come to my
mind, knowing I must be patient and get the
answers in due time. Life’s road can often be
lonely and I feel at times all
alone, remembering through life, a lasting
love for me was shown.
I keep traveling
the highway knowing God is always there, I
have no reason to be worrying or have feelings
of despair. Here along life’s road are
treasures for your eyes to behold, although
we must look often to have natures beauty
unfold.
Colorful rainbows in the sky,
stars in the skies every night, morning
grasses kissed by dew awaiting sunrises first
light, Flowers bloom abundantly at the
beginning of every spring, some birds start
with nesting, with happiness they will
sing.
Majestic mountains which rise
sweeping up into earth’s air, another
beautiful bald eagle flying seemingly without a
care. There is much I can be thankful for all
across this land I see, one is the reason
most important, I live in the land of
liberty.
I am able to work, live or
worship any way I should choose, I can speak
my mind on subjects, expressing my own
views. Schools are provided to further your
educations and careers, social security to
try to help some in your later golden
years.
Airports are plentiful to fly you
to your perfect destination, the only thing
hard to decide is where to relax on
vacation. So, when you think the road of life
is getting tough for you, take some time out
to carefully think a few things
through.
Remember to always count your
blessings, not your money, be thankful for
the rain as well as the days which are
sunny. Express thanks for all the friends and
loved ones you know, all too soon this life
must pass and soon one of them will
go.
Don’t worry so much about where
life’s road will take you, just always
remember, God is always watching over us
too. We were not promised sunshine without
some of life’s rain, and for there to be
growth ... there must also be some
pain.
