The path we choose,
and all the people we reach out to touch.
Many life choices we make,
can change our world and mean so very much.

Whether each decision,
is made after giving it a lot of careful thought.
Seeking proper guidance,
certainly is something which should be sought.

For once you decide,
the decision remains secreted in your mind.
If the decision is wrong,
no peace for your heart will you be able to find.

Deciding to go to war,
to defend your country, fighting until the end.
To live always in peace,
sometimes, other countries do not comprehend.

Friendships which begin,
but then without warning fall completely apart.
Whether to move on now,
learning to forget, and mend your broken heart.

Which church or school,
you will be the most comfortable attending.
How you choose to die,
when your journey on the earth is finally ending.

Determine early in life,
which side of the law you will always be on.
A life of wrong doing,
and before you know it any future is soon gone.

What occupation you choose,
to ensure a wonderful and truly fulfilling life.
Whom you choose to marry,
exchanging vows, becoming husband and wife.

Maybe you were to remain single,
with the knowledge you always want to be free.
Whether to have children,
giving them guidance and love unconditionally.

There are so many choices,
in life each of us must sooner or later decide.
But only you will choose,
and the full price you pay you must take in stride.

Once you make your decision,
don’t try to put the blame on anyone you know.
Choosing your path wisely,
for each experience will help you continue to grow.

This life journey we are on,
is sometimes already written as our destiny and fate.
If the choice is yours to make,
choose very wisely, don’t decide after it is too late.
