Watching the moonlight on the water,
create lovely reflections for me to see.
Enjoying the blue night sky overhead,
wanting faithful love to beckon to me.

This magic I sense inside of my heart,
can these emotions be depended upon.
Will they vanish in the morning light,
the enchanting atmosphere now gone.

I whisper to the night winds so softly,
as they move slowly through the trees.
Then night winds reach to answer me,
touching me with another cool breeze.

I look to the moon above as it shines,
stars twinkling in a vivid colored sky.
I need to reach out and feel someone,
to have true love, never say goodbye.

This void I feel inside my own heart,
will I ever see it completely fulfilled.
Possibly realize the meaning of love,
to have dreams on which I can build.

If, I could maybe see a shooting star,
and finally know the answer is clear.
Then able to live the rest of my days,
having a love of my own to be near.

Wanting answers to all the questions,
for true lasting love to come my way.
For that one special someone for me,
to stay beside me each night and day.
