Do not be filled with anger nor with hate,
Instead let the teachings of God resonate.
Always show mutual respect for the other,
Reach out your hand to help one another.
Never allow envy or greed into your heart,
These two things eventually tear you apart.
Keep your spirit completely open and free,
Soft and gentle as the wind through a tree.
Say not an unkind word about another one,
Once out the pain or hurt cannot be undone.
Keep all people as equally important to you,
Let faithful goodness keep coming through.
Honor always both your father and mother,
Think kindly towards your sister or brother.
If on the earth without knowing any family,
Bring inside friends to fill any void in thee.
Reflection on living is always a good thing,
When done correctly it makes the heart sing.
Sweet melodies sung by the birds overhead,
Tell of better days which now await ahead.
When day is done and you retire each night,
Do not anguish or be overcome with fright.
Imagine an ocean flows close by your side,
Put your cares in carried away by each tide.
Count the many true blessings from above,
Be always thankful for God’s undying love.
He is always there for us until the very end,
When finally up to heaven we shall ascend.
If you look and cannot see God anywhere,
Just know in your heart He is forever there.
By our side is where God shall always stay,
At the end of our night and start of the day.
