Across the Miles

Across the long distant miles,
through out all the many years,
Some times through happiness,
other times through many tears.

What ever has been happening,
to me, in life, on any given day.
Continually always being there,
right beside me come what may.

Talking for awhile on the phone,
wanting to get me to understand.
You really do love me as a friend,
faithfully able to lend me a hand.

Making no judgement about any
of the things I have been through.
Appreciation, for you really will
be ready to help in whatever I do.

I can’t find the words to express,
this deep bond built by you and I.
Love goes so deep within us both,
words to relate it in short supply.

They talk of soul mates meeting,
in their life while here on earth.
I feel you are my true soul sister,
how do I tell you of your worth.

A lovely bouquet will convey it,
maybe write some verses for you.
How do I tell a dear, sweet friend
How very much I do love her too.
