Be careful where you walk,
watch where you tread.
Try to always stay focused,
on the path that lies ahead.
Be careful with your words,
and who you say them to.
The pain and hurt you leave,
is not something to do.
Be careful not to forget,
to say I love you today,
Because we will never know,
how long we get to stay.
Be careful with your thoughts,
leave your worries behind.
Look to the future ahead,
and a peaceful journey to find.
Be careful what you wish for,
give it cautious thought.
Things will happen so quickly,
know it is what you sought.
Be careful in choice of friends,
honor their true worth.
These same people walk beside
you here on this earth.
Be careful to guard your heart,
of unkind words and deeds.
Always remember follow God,
to surely fulfill your needs.
Be careful and pray every day,
for God to watch over you.
To always give you faith and
hope to carry you through.
Be careful to allow the dream
to the breaking of the dawn.
Have the true strength you shall
need to always carry on.
