When the sun breaks over the horizon,
A gentle breeze again touches my face.
My thoughts return once more to you,
To a genuine love you cannot replace.

Mornings delight for everyone to see,
Shades of pink and then a golden hue.
Watching as the day begins with you,
Suddenly the sun emerges into view.

Through morning and into the night,
Colors of pink, purple and deep blue.
Wandering again back into my mind,
Picturesque sunsets push through.

Able to spend every season with you,
Whether raining or the sky is all clear.
In winter, spring, summer and fall too,
Reaching out and you are always near.

Knowing the moments we will enjoy,
Spending a day together doing things.
Lovely nights slow dancing with you,
Thankful for our life and all it brings.

Wanting to lay in your arms all night,
Soothing comfort to help me through.
Gazing as you rest in peaceful sleep,
Blessed with this gift of love for you.
