Stardust

There is a big bucket of stardust,
I always carry it around with me.
Trying to bring a little happiness,
Into the many troubled lives I see.

This angel suddenly earth bound,
My heart hurting by what I found.
Many people with an ache inside,
Pain and troubles too hard to hide.

Seeing someone so afraid or alone,
Doing their best so it is not known.
Getting to smile for just a little bit,
It is not so easy for them to forget.

I continue and I will keep on trying,
To stop the flow of tears and crying.
Taking a moment I know I can give,
Just to help another to want to live.

To make their day brighter if I can,
Reaching out with a helping hand.
I will be here to help those in need,
Sprinkling stardust I must succeed.

If you see someone who is down,
Take a look and see if I am around.
Close by my side is a wonder to see,
A bucket of stardust there with me.

Look to the Heavens way up above,
An angel is leaving to share the love.
For all of God’s children to be aware,
On constant vigil, He is always there.
