One day God sent a very special gift
to me,
I was too busy though and did not take
the time to see.
Inside of this beautiful
gift I had so quickly set aside,
An offer of
friendship tucked away carefully
inside.
Yesterday, I finally opened up my
precious gift,
There inside it were treasures
to give my heart a lift.
Little words and
thoughts in the gift to share with me,
The
ones before I had not taken the time to really
see.
If
God should send something very special your
way,
Please, take time to look at the gift to
see what it has to say.
There are so many
little things in life we seem to
miss,
Sometimes when we even forget other
people care and exist.
The gift may not
come packaged the way we think it
should,
Hidden there inside for you though is
always something good.
I am so glad I finally
opened it without anymore delay,
Thank you
again God for the gift you sent
today.
