Have you ever looked at the pictures in the sky,
The ones formed by the clouds as they go floating by.
They have always remained a mystery to me,
All of these different wonderful pictures I can see.
If you look closely sometimes you can see a human face,
The features are all there and easy for you to trace.
But if you can wait just a little bit,
The picture has shifted, now what is it.
Oh, wait that one it looks just like a teddy bear,
And what is that one over there.
It looks like a car, the one there looks like a plane,
So many pictures I can’t explain.
Like big fluffy pillows they go floating by,
Sometimes we can’t see them at all, I wonder why.
All of a sudden, they are just gone, where did they go,
No clouds at all, I wonder does anybody know.
Do you see in the clouds in the sky what I see,
Or is it just my imagination, is it just me.
But then when I take a look again,
So many pictures they seem to have no end.
Look a pretty rose, and a small wagon I can see
And over there a beautiful tree.
Doesn’t that one right there look like a book
Oh, come on now take a closer look.
When you go outside take a good look at the sky,
Where did all of the pictures come from and why.
Who is the artist, is it someone we know,
Are these picture placed there to help us grow.
What did you see in the pictures in the sky,
Is there a message, have you bothered asking why.
They were put there to make you take a look around,
Because there is a true message there to be found.
To keep moving and changing and learning to grow,
At some point in our life about just letting go.
Those pictures there represent your right to be free,
And that is all those pictures in the sky were meant to be.
