Cynthia

Who is this woman who means so much to me,
This special person whom I have yet to see.
Cynthia is a warmhearted person inside,
A part of her she seems to want to hide.
The name Cynthia given to her at birth,
To aid her direct travel this time on earth.
Cynthia has a habit of driving after drinking,
I wonder aloud, “My God what is she thinking.”
Does she know it's like having a gun in her hand,
There is a price but one her loved ones did not plan.
What does Cynthia think her children are going to say,
When the police say, “I’m sorry, your Mom died today.”
“They tried everything to save her but there was no way.”
What are they suppose to tell her grandchildren that day.
She must realize she cannot the designated driver be,
Drinking herself. How many, maybe one, two or three.
Another of Cynthia’s habits she can’t seem to cure,
Which everyone who knows her must endure.
"What is the problem, why is it so bad?"
Never is she quiet and this is quite sad.
Also a bad mouth and says naughty words,
Never still to listen to messages to be heard.
If Cynthia is so bad then what am I doing here,
Don’t be quick to rule the message is very clear.
God wants to assist her and for me to do my part,
But sometimes I really don’t know where to start.
I know I need to try to get her to be silent for a bit,
To look at the bad habits, I feel this is the key to it.
Looking at all her children completely individually,
Don’t try to control them and just let them be free.
Free for them to grow and their own life to choose,
The lessons she taught them, they will never loose.
Her children are completely loved I have no doubt,
From what she tells me though, all fight and shout.
There seems much hidden pain in this nice family,
Something all cannot conceive or be able to see.
She needs to rectify and take a good look around,
Before one of her children or she is in the ground.
So, stop fighting with all your children do it today,
Please, my friend don’t let this chance slip away.
Give all your concern to God when you go to bed,
You will make it together this God promised you,
It is God’s plan and He will help you get through.
