My friend Sue
has a really wonderful spirit, How I truly
wish everyone I know could see. This
beautiful woman who is so dear to me. We each
have lost a child in different ways, Now with
grief we must carry all of our
days.
Wayne has gone to heaven and is
finally free, What happened to others in
Wayne's family. Leaving his loved ones with a
burden to bear, When someone they loved is no
longer there.
We try to be there for each
other when we can, Until life makes yet
another emotional demand. Letters, cute jokes
and words of prayer are sent, Handled with
affection and respect is our intent.
Sue
has a terrific husband, whose name is Red, He
is not well though and often must stay in
bed. A wife, friend and care giver, Sue
doesn’t mind, Since this love of theirs you
cannot easily define.
Smidgen is there
and you say, "Well who is he?" Their little
dogs purpose, to keep them company. Filling
part of their life and helping them to
smile, Forgetting their troubles if maybe for
a little while.
Sue is also gifted like
me ... she too writes poetry. Some of hers
will take you places you don’t know, Feeling
like you are right there if you let yourself
go. Start reading her words, you've got
nothing to lose, An opportunity to even see
yourself if you choose.
Are you wondering
what brought us two together?, Was it the
luck of the draw, the timing or weather?. No,
if you don’t yet see it, the message is very
clear, Maybe it is even something you don’t
want to hear. The one with the master plan
for everyone to see. Sue calls him Jah ... He
is called God by me.
