Honey, how would anyone know Of this deep
love I share with you, The one which burns so
steady and true. Should I be silent and never
say a word, To not let our beautiful message
be heard.
Or instead should I be shouting
it out loud, This love we share of which I’m
so proud. Letting the whole world know how we
feel, So all would then realize this is
indeed real.
Plenty of woman would give
their worth, To share love like ours while
here on earth. There are other couples who
feel as we do, Having no words to help them
get through.
You and I sit together
almost every night, Fingers entwined or you
holding me tight. Kisses we share still mean
so very much, Your gentle hands, soft and
sensual touch.
These feelings for you
will never go away, Even at the time we
become old and gray. Will people wonder when
I do pass away, Not sure because I never
stopped to say.
I will not remain silent
until the very end, You’re my husband, lover
and best friend. We have been together
through all eternity, A love still burning
brightly for you and me.
